working in a team environment, the analyst will have access to senior officers of the firm and clients. You will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The analyst will work with managing directors, executive directors, vice presidents, associates, and analysts worldwide, assisting them with all client activities (marketing, execution, and ongoing relationship management). The analyst will assume responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting, and ongoing management of client relationships.
core responsibilities:
1. supporting corporate bankers in client coverage across products such as credit, cash management, trade, markets, and dcm among others.
2. assisting corporate bankers in managing existing client relationships and developing a new multinational client base.
3. preparing internal approval documents such as credit memos and balance sheet committee models.
4. helping with industry and credit analysis (reviewing financial statements, listening to and summarizing investor presentations, and supporting the credit approval and documentation process).
5. conducting industry and company research.
6. maintaining internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, and balance sheet memos.
7. assisting in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new revenue, in line with hq and regional bankers.
8. helping with projects as requested.
qualifications:
1. bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials.
2. high level of motivation, dependability, intelligence, and a team player.
3. excellent ms office skills, specifically excel-based modeling and powerpoint.
4. excellent verbal and written communication skills, in english and spanish.
5. strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills including powerpoint and excel-based modeling.
6. proficiency with research tools including bloomberg.
7. relevant experience in the financial industry is valued.
