At te connectivity, general managers are responsible for developing long-term objectives and strategic plans for a major division by identifying internal and external strategic issues that affect growth and profitability.

- manage footprint project scope, schedule, and budget to assure execution in alignment with business unit financial plan and objectives for on-time delivery and quality
- proactively assess risk and develop countermeasure plans to avoid any potential negative impact to the deliverables of the projects, and establish escalation path on all projects
- manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- acts as the company representative with vendors, suppliers and landlord during project execution
- utilize enterprise level project systems to manage project plans, data, and actions.
- provide planned and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to achieve results using data and facts, driving the appropriate processes and behaviors, and focusing on accountability for results.
qualifications:
- bilingual in english and spanish
- minimum ten (10) years' experience in leadership roles within a manufacturing organization
- minimum 5 years' large scale and complex project management preferably with greenfield manufacturing site startup
- in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection mold & assembly process)
- bachelor's degree major in engineering, management, or electronics with a master's degree in a related field
- preferred qualifications include:
- experience in engineering and/or materials management
- operations transformation and project management leadership
- functional experience with sap
- apics cpim designation
- demonstrated understanding of financial accounting and operational performance data required.
- demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change and accountability in a fast-paced, international matrix organization.
- demonstrated ability to lead and motivate across cultural, geographic, business, and functional boundaries.
- ability to energize and motivate people and to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and lead as a change agent and hold people accountable for high standards of performance.
- proven track record of creating, implementing and/or sustaining a lean operation within a dynamic environment.
- experience in developing, implementing, and improving key performance indicator metrics through strong data analysis and continuous improvement.
- strong knowledge of quality systems and problem solving (six sigma, lean manufacturing).
