about the role our client, a leading mobile application software company serving the real estate and hospitality industries in north america, is seeking an experienced corporate development director / senior manager to join their team. This role is remote and will focus on sourcing and evaluating m&a and strategic investment initiatives that support the company's expansion and growth strategy in north america.
this position is ideal for a seasoned investment banking, corporate development, or private equity professional with deep expertise in hospitality tech, proptech and real estate technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network within these sectors, the ability to source and evaluate acquisition opportunities, and experience in financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution.
the corporate development director / senior manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, structuring, and executing acquisitions, as well as preparing investment reports for senior leadership.
key responsibilitiesm&a strategy & execution: identify, assess, and execute potential acquisitions and strategic investments within proptech, hospitality tech, and real estate technology that align with the company's north american growth strategy.
market & competitive analysis: conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and key industry players.
deal origination & industry networking: leverage industry relationships to source and initiate discussions with potential acquisition targets and strategic partners.
financial analysis & investment modeling: develop detailed financial models, valuations, and investment theses to support decision-making.
investment committee & senior leadership support: prepare and present reports, investment cases, and transaction recommendations to the executive team.
due diligence & transaction execution: lead financial, operational, and strategic due diligence efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
partnership development: evaluate and structure joint ventures, strategic alliances, and investment partnerships to expand the company's market presence.
qualifications5-10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development, with a focus on proptech, hospitality tech, or real estate technology.
strong track record in m&a deal sourcing, financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
extensive industry relationships in real estate, hospitality, and property technology.
proven ability to prepare investment presentations and financial reports for senior executives and board members.
fluency in english is a must.
excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
experience in public company transactions is a plus.
