- bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management or a related field.
- a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- experience in electronic industry
- demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- experience in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
- strong analytical, negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- results oriented, proactive, independent.
- sap software or equivalent

*roles & responsibilities: development of the purchasing department’s strategy*:
- manage material purchasing needs
- develop the purchasing strategy in line with the division’s purchasing department objectives.
- prepare the required material cost evaluations to enable the sales department to make competitive
- select suppliers and negotiate optimal and constantly updated purchasing conditions (cost, quality,logistics) while optimizing stock levels.
- provide all necessary support to the procurement team on major difficulties.
- participate in resolving supplier-originated quality issues, in conjunction with the qualitydepartment.
- monitor supplier performance and drive improvement actions.
- manage supplier disputes (reception, invoice, etc.).
- secure supplies by mapping (dynamic) product/supplier risks.
- for directly managed product families, select suppliers, agree and formalize with them the terms ofcosts, quality, and deadlines.
- ensure technological monitoring of all purchased product families.
- ensure synthetic monthly reporting to site hierarchy and functional activity if applicable
