advise the facility on prioritizing, planning and launching projects that support this strategic direction for the s&sc division.- ensures that lean processing and six sigma breakthroughs are maintained to solve chronic problems, remove waste, and to plan new services or products.- monitor metrics to ensure ci activities align with business objectives.qualifications, skills and attributes:*core requirements*- 5 years or more of overall manufacturing experience (preferable in electrical components processing) with a solid career in industrial, process, manufacturing or quality engineering.- bachelor's degree in industrial, electronic, mechatronics, electrical or other related engineering field.- bilingual: english/spanish - solid written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
*desireable skills and experience*- strong background and familiarity with manufacturing automation concepts and their interlink to industry 4.0- formal training in tps or lean manufacturing elements, six sigma or similar certification.- extensive portfolio of improvement projects utilizing six sigma and lean manufacturing.- knowledge developing manufacturing systems based in apqp, pfmea, msa, ppap and other automotive related requirements.- excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.- project management experience applied in manufacturing fields.- ability to read and understand detailed technical documents such as design drawings, mechanical drawings, processes and product specifications.
