The regional sales manager – leather plays a pivotal role in executing buckman’s strategy. He/she ensures the achievement of the mexico opco leather sales, gross profit (gp), and market profit contribution (mpc) targets, from inception through execution of the leather sales plan, pricing, and negotiating prices and commercial conditions in accordance with the opco policy, as well as participating in visits to main customers with a focus on growing customer share.
he/she delivers sales, gp, and mpc targets for his/her direct customers. Ensures the achievement of the division’s free cash flow goals by controlling the execution and accuracy of the sales forecast, negotiating payment terms in accordance with the opcos policy, and keeping account receivables under control.
performance management of his/her direct reports ensures collaboration, accountability, and teamwork. Promotes the professional development of direct reports using buckman's performance management tools. Leads the division's strategic projects by defining priorities, coordinating resource allocation, preparing financial analyses, and investment requests.
provides technical support to the division and customers through process optimization, participation in product evaluation, and the exploration and proposition of specific solutions.
minimum requirements to apply
1. bachelor's degree or equivalent in a chemical area.
2. specialty/technical knowledge in leather (ciatec, conalep, senai, upc, etc).
3. +7 years of work experience in sales.
4. +2 years of management experience at regional, national, or international level.
5. strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
6. excellent problem-solving, planning, and organization skills.
