about the position:
the head of payroll, benefits, and labor relations is responsible for designing, managing, and controlling payroll, administering local benefits, and maintaining labor relations in latin america in compliance with labor contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and current labor legislation.
key responsibilities:
* design, manage, and control payroll operations
* administer local benefits to employees
* maintain labor relations with internal and external stakeholders
* oversee payroll strategy and processing
requirements:
* hold a degree in labor psychology, auditor accountant, business administration engineer, commercial engineer, or a related field
* at least 10 years of experience in personnel management, particularly in labor relations (mandatory), and experience handling unions
* advanced or intermediate english language proficiency
* experience in the logistics industry (desirable)
* proven experience leading teams
* exceptional skills in communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, crisis management, effective communication, and goal-oriented strategies
