General description
assigned for the planning and execution of activities that are included in the health model for the well-being of workers and their families in brp méxico, campus juárez. Execution of tasks that guarantee compliance with regulations that apply stps, ssa, imss in the prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses; manage equipment, materials, supplies and medicines for the care of any emergency; plan epidemiological health programs for workers exposed to occupational risk factors; activate individual and family health promotion campaigns; search for statistics that allow timely control and reporting on the efficiency and quality of preventive occupational health services.
experience and education
● degree in general medicine
● minimum experience 5 years
knowledge, skills and certifications
● knowledge of medium or advanced computer programs.
● reaction process in epidemics and/or pandemics.
● knowledge of stps regulations, social security law, health secretariat regulations that apply to provisional health services in work centers and outpatient health services.
● experience in managing financial and technical resources in health areas.
● knowledge and skills related to the interdiscipline of health services and their coordination.
● leadership training preferably with certification.
main duties and responsibilities:
● monitor the health of workers and, through admission, periodic and special examinations, identify potentially possible causes of accidents and work-related illnesses that, in coordination with the work safety department, allow the company to establish preventive safety and hygiene measures.
● recommend an epidemiological program that allows carrying out measures to prevent illnesses due to exposure to chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial agents depending on the nature of the work and industrial activities that take place.
● notify and initiate the investigation of incidents that occur in relation to labor activity and the exercise of work with machinery, equipment, instruments and elaboration materials.
● present to the labor secretariat and social forecast the notification of work risks occurring each year in progress.
● respond to the forms st7 and st9 that issue the instituto mexicano del seguro social as a result of a claim for work-related risks.
● determine and document for the company the information that allows it to annually notify the employer of occupational risks.
● issue your opinion on the origin of the illness or work accident that is detected and/or complained by workers.
● the results of medical examinations will be communicated to the company in terms of the workers' work aptitude, respecting the confidentiality that requires medical ethics. Coadyuva with guidance and in your case with training in terms of preventing work risks that the company requests.
● secures essential medicines and healing materials to provide first aid in a timely and effective manner.
● keep evidence of workers' medical records and present them to the secretary if required.
● channeling infectious cases to health sector facilities based on public health care.
● supervision of nursing work.
● supervision of the filling of care boxes in the medical department.
