*specific duties and responsibilities include*:
- monitor e-logs and make sure all drivers are compliant with us regulations.
- overlooking maintenance to make sure all equipment are being properly maintained.
- ensure safety and federally administrated compliance regulations are enforced for equipment, vehicles and transport employees.
- manage all accidents and claims
- performs other related duties as required and assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work of the safety & compliance department.
*knowledge and skills*:
- must have minimum 3 years of transportation safety and compliance experience with at least 2 years of experience in handling accidents and claims.
- good knowledge about dot rules and regulations.
- experience in handling dot audits required.
- excellent written and communication skills in english.
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
- ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- high level of personal integrity, objectivity and honesty.
This is a full-time position, working monday-friday. is a 24/7 operation, so you should be available to respond to issues outside of regular business hours as necessary.
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
