join our winning team of wave makers and go getters and help us write the next chapter in the scj story.summary:this position will report to the consumer insights & business analytics rbp director latam, with key responsibilities to deliver the learning agenda built in collaboration with local marketing directors.the ciba rbp associate manager will deliver local consumer insights to further grow the business in latam and will provide analytic data to support local plans and decision making.
also, will work as an "internal consultant", being a key reference for the region, ensuring any business decision is grounded into deep consumer knowledge and business drivers.is expected to work in partnership with global ciba team, giving *support* when global projects are conducted in the local market and *visibility* when a research initiative is being placed in the local market.essential duties and responsibilities:- guide learning needs and set priorities for areas of focus to drive share and category growth.- recommend appropriate primary research design based on marketing objectives.- understand and recommend analytic tools to support local tactical plans (shelf architecture, decision tree, golden stores, etc).- act as a strategic business partner providing consumer insight-driven recommendations for business decisions.- develop/ lead category specific analysis and/or identify business opportunities for prioritized channels, regions, or emerging business.- lead btl asset evaluation for the categories, recommending adjustments to optimize creative and guarantee shopper conversion.- keep apprised of category insights, retail industry and consumer trends and use this data to provide business context to marketing, cust mktg, sales, category management and regional leaders.- partner with our syndicated data vendor team to deep dive into retail and household panel consumption dynamic- lead marketing mix studies to bring recommendations on how optimize media investments.required skills / experience / competencies:- bachelor's degree- 05 years of previous experience in marketing or insights- knowledge of research tools/ methodologies- robust experience with nielsen retail data capability and kpis- effective communication skills to simplify complex business challenges, to influence and impact the business.- ability to make complex data simple, accessible, and actionable.- works well independently, managing multiple priorities.- deal comfortably with ambiguity.- ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
