The senior content manager will be writing, planning, and organizing content for numana and its clients. He/she works with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement project plans that support a positive user experience and align with organizational goals.

- copywriting for key clinical focus areas and service lines, with the intended audience being consumers (patient education).
- produces and advises on a range of print, interactive, and media projects that could include posters, white papers, rack cards, and other digital content.
- collaborates with other team members (designers, copywriters, and developers) in developing communication concepts that reflect the unique position and value of numana digital to our diverse audience segments.
- participates in onboarding meetings with new clients.
- develops navigation structure and content checklist based on an understanding of client’s brand, messaging, and content needs.
- follows marketing workflow from client input, concept to pre-press, production/development.
- interacts with internal clients; works closely with marketing, service lines, and business development teams to create and implement solutions, and obtain input and approval.
- manages own project workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed.
- ensures integration across all marketing functions and channels
- helps to ensure successful representation of numana digital's brand across media, through knowledge of brand standards, design templates, and systems architecture.
- supervises content writer, assigns writing assignments, and reviews/approves for completion ensuring deadlines are met.
- assists web development team in editing development sites before websites are launched.

- plan, research, write, and edit new content, as well as manage and update existing content for numana digital and social media for medical topics. This scope also includes:
- implementing content strategies across digital channels
- focusing on content creation that supports defined goals in close partnership with marketing strategists and internal stakeholders as defined by project scope
- optimizing content for web/mobile readability, reading level, audience, and search engine optimization
- ensuring content is current, relevant, user-focused, and supports overall site objectives
- tailoring language and information to different audience segments, specifically physicians and consumers
- ensuring digital content meets established web guidelines/policies/styles
- create and manage campaigns, including reporting and communication with the campaign owner.
- work with the marketing coordinator to maintain the website content management system (cms).
- write, edit, and produce digital communications as assigned.
Work with team leadership to establish and communicate policies and best practices for digital content creation, including, but not limited to style guides, publishing and content review cycles, and template creation. All content is reviewed before publishing by a peer or senior-level editor.
*qualifications*
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in copywriting, journalism, marketing, public relations, communication studies, english, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in medical writing
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience using digital channels including websites, blogs, and social media
- experience in a science or healthcare environment required
- strong knowledge of copyediting
- keen attention to detail
- proven experience with a variety of content development including medical/technical writing, feature writing, long and short-form writing,
- and catchy teasers and headlines
- proficiency with relevant technology and software, including content management systems, seo, and social media tools
- able to work independently as well as collaboratively with seasoned creative and marketing teams
- excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written skills
- experience writing content for the web (e.g., seo optimization)
- strong concept development and problem-solving skills
- exceptional work examples that showcase solid conceptual skills and execution
