.the it project manager/business analyst will define and document customer business functions, processes and business requirements as well as oversee project plans, implementations and track the project deliverables.*job functions*:- define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management, create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, determines the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project, and develops a timeline for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.- monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.- lead, manage and mentor project managers.- establish project management best practices across the organization.- establishes and communicates individual and team performance to assigned project teams and direct reports.- responsible for the appropriate resourcing, project execution, training and fiscal oversight for their assigned projects and/or program.- provides guidance and oversight to the pms assigned to their projects/program in order to ensure adherence to project scope, sops, timelines, and budget requirements.- act as a liaison between department end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other departments in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of system implementations.- analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.- track and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood standard operating procedures for permanent records and for use in training.- comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.*requirements*:- bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance or business required.- minimum of eight to ten years of combined experience as an it project manager and/or business analyst.- one to two years of direct people management experience preferred.- proven knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, project management techniques and tools including microsoft project required.- demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development required.- ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.- proven experience with change management and ability to work in rapidly changing environment which is often time sensitive and deadline driven.- ability to coach and mentor direct reports.- excellent written and verbal communication skills
