The sr. Controller manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting, budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.
general responsibilities
1. manages accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts.
2. manages the integrity of the general ledger, including the review of accounting records and financial statements.
3. reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports.
4. ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported, and are in compliance with accounting guidelines and internal policies.
5. leads the developing, modifying and executing of company policies.
6. accounts and researches any budget variances, reporting significant discrepancies to management.
7. works directly with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
8. manages the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.
9. manages accounting integration activities for post-acquisition closing, which includes but is not limited to, process mapping, accounting policy harmonization and systems integration.
10. recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met.
11. develops goals and prepare performance assessments annually, in a timely manner.
experience / qualifications
1. a university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
2. must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
3. strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
4. strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
5. strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.

7. proficient in microsoft office programs (outlook, word, powerpoint, and excel).
