about the opportunity
we're looking for a project management professional interested in implementing best-in-class advanced planning and scheduling software. The project manager (“pm”) is a junior to mid-level role that budgets, plans, and oversees software implementation projects led by internal and partner teams. Additionally, the pm engages in the following daily activities:
* mapping business processes which translate into technology and project requirements.
* creating proposals and scope documents for new and existing customers.
* becoming a process and project expert, assisting with any problems that arise.
* reviewing and editing business requirements documentation.
* maintaining weekly project statuses and reports in asana.
* providing status reports on channel partners who are actively implementing the planettogether aps.
the ideal candidate is an autonomous, go-getter, who relishes the opportunity to be involved in many different projects and initiatives at the same time. Performing all tasks and status updates with an acute sense of urgency at all times is second nature to the person best fitting this role. To succeed, the pm must be able to handle multiple requests and competing priorities with grace and a level head all while meeting deadlines and slas.
this position reports into the director of professional services. In general, we're looking for team members whose equilibrium is juggling multiple projects and priorities. Strong candidates will possess an innate ability to set the standard and strive for excellence every minute of the day. To succeed at planettogether, candidates should be incredible critical thinkers, relentless problem solvers, and positive people.
requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a technology or saas environment.
* 3+ years of experience managing complex technology integration projects.
* advanced aptitude and ability to learn and be able to demonstrate the use of integrated enterprise software quickly (days not weeks).
* fast learner, with an ability to understand complex software systems, user challenges, and offer creative yet practical solutions.
* native-level fluency in english (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable speaking with colleagues, partners, and clients across all mediums.
* manufacturing and/or supply chain experience is a major plus.
