*advisor rbwm risk*role purpose (overall high level summary of the role)- role holders will carry out activities that will include most of the following:- co-ordinating and managing projects.
typically, working on smaller projects/assignments- assisting in delivery of larger projects- implementing company policy and contributing to the attainment of functional results- ensuring the quality of tasks/services provided by colleagues, involving regular process checks or the reviewing of output by a co-worker and/or supervisor- identifying and escalating issues- communicating technical or sensitive information- co-ordinating and overseeing work for a small team, to meet agreed deadlines- management responsibility for a team, including people, objective setting and performance- providing general guidance/direction to mentor members of the team or develop their skills- understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures in own teamsupporting change initiatives and escalating any concerns*requirements*:*governance*- management of senior committees (hbmx wpb rmm and americas forum) information review, consolidation of the pack, presentation to the wpb risk cro, elaboration of meeting minutes and follow up to action items- request and consolidation of wpb risk material for the hbmx rmm, lam rmm, audit lam committee, mx lam committee and board- elaboration of portfolio quality review minutes and follow up to action items- employee portfolio management- coordination of quarterly credit review forum- management of wpb risk profile (risk appetite statement, risk map and top & emerging risks)- support internal / external audits and reviews in mx wpb risk, such as cnbv, banxico, condusef, abm, credit bureau, pwc, pra, ina, crri and others.- maintains hsbc internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.- represent wpb risk in regular meetings with global.- review and assure the compliance with fim standards within hbmx.- follow up of issues, dispensations, regulatory breaches and msii (management self-identified issues).- promote and practice the appropriate risk management, ensuring that risks are captured, understood, clearly communicated and potential sources of loss are minimized in a cost-effective manner.
