This position reports to the americas payroll leader and, is responsible for the payroll process for mexico, supporting other payroll processes (canada, united states, puerto rico, and argentina) being located in san luis potosí, mexico.
*job duties*:
- coordinate and execute tasks to complete data entry, data processing, and payroll outputs verification on time (aligned to payroll calendar)
- perform regular audits (and reconciliations) of payroll and employee data
- administration of payroll outputs
- support to costumers and stakeholders (employees, supervisors, and other functions in human resources)
- maintain payroll structure aligned to federal regulations and obligations like social security, infonavit, fonacot, etc.
*you must have*:
- associate degree in finance, accounting, administration or any other related area
- experience in mexican payroll is a must
- understanding of common payroll concepts and formulas
- basic knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll legislation as well as common payroll policies and procedures to maintain payroll under compliance with the law
- self-motivation while being to work with little supervision, consistently taking the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
- high level of proactivity and high sense of urgency
- self-starter, responsive, with a customer service approach to employee needs
