The event & webinar coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing events and webinars to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This part-time role is ideal for a marketing student with a passion for organizing impactful experiences and building connections. The position requires availability to travel and a proactive attitude to ensure the success of events. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in startups, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
key responsibilities:
* plan, organize, and execute both virtual and in-person events, including webinars, workshops, and brand activations.
* coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and travel arrangements.
* collaborate with the marketing team to align event goals with broader business objectives.
* manage event timelines, budgets, and post-event evaluations.
* support the creation of promotional materials and communication campaigns for events and webinars.
* serve as the main point of contact during events, ensuring smooth execution and attendee satisfaction.
* research and propose innovative ideas to enhance attendee engagement and event success.
* build and maintain relationships with partners, speakers, and vendors.
requirements
* current marketing student or recent graduate with a strong academic record.
* at least 2 years of experience in startups or fast-paced environments.
* excellent organizational and project management skills.
* strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* flexibility to travel and manage events outside of regular working hours.
* proficiency in tools like google workspace (docs, sheets, slides) and familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., zoom, microsoft teams).
