a taste of what you’ll be doing
* labor relations management: manage labor relations for a plant of 550 employees, including employee grievances, discipline, and complaints, ensuring compliance with labor strategy and laws.
* human resources processes lead: handle terminations, settlement payments, and payroll updates while overseeing labor agreements and employee handbooks.
* internal and external customer service: act as the main point of contact for external legal entities, universities, and student programs, ensuring smooth collaboration.
* lead employee services processes: lead onboarding, internal communications, and benefit programs for hourly employees, such as profit-sharing and school supplies packages.
* plant manager assistant: serve as second-in-command to the hr plant manager, taking on leadership in their absence and providing support across hr activities.
we’re looking for someone with
* bachelor's degree in hr, business administration, or related field.
* 3-4 years of hr experience in payroll, labor relations, or as an hr generalist.
* 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* advanced proficiency in excel and english.
* excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with tolerance for ambiguity and frustration.
