As our next amp assets management plan / technical sales support, you will proactively engage with customers - especially with building managers, end users, and owners - in the early phases of the elevator lifetime to introduce innovative kone solutions and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: create demand and customer relationship management
• proactively engage with customers and influencers, create and build relationships in early phases of the customer journey, and discover customer needs using consultative/value selling methods.
• receive certain leads from sales specialists and marketing and proactively screen the market and our customer base using kone analysis tools.
• meet customers up to their management level with local sales teams and articulate the value kone can bring to their projects and how kone's solutions help customers differentiate and succeed.
• maximize kone's hit rate and profit margin by seeking opportunities to accelerate sales of new solutions and services.
with early influencing, increase the number of projects with kone specifications in rfqs.
• create and implement an actionable sales ramp-up plan for the solutions in focus as well as for timely and accurate reporting.
• seek to understand customer needs holistically, consult customers, and co-create best fit people flow solutions.
collaboration with sales team and customer solutions engineering (cse) team
• collaborate with cse in medium and large complexity projects or when digital solutions (e.g., api, residential flow) are included.
• gather and document relevant information about market and competitors from the field.
• ensure clear project handover to salespeople according to global/fl policy to close the deals.
• support sales team in tendering and negotiations as needed.
• keep local salespeople and project managers updated on early engagement sales activities and progress.
accountable to plan the surveys he is due to perform
• accountable to survey the equipment in accordance with the relevant surveys and kone standards respecting kone safety rules.
• take measurements and complete the necessary documentation and pictures requested.
• for any request to update the global database, report the adequate information and pictures requested to the national fl unit data manager.
• in case of critical equipment (safety issues), communicate with the superior the requested information.
• ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition.
• participate in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical issues at fl unit level.
hiring requirements: • mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, sales, or similar area
• at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• advanced knowledge in elevators and escalators
• advanced knowledge in customer service and the sales cycle
• good communication skills
