gc realty & development is seeking a detail-driven, results-focused operations manager to lead our remote operations team and scale the processes behind a portfolio of 1,300+ rental units.
this is a role for someone who understands that operations excellence isn't just about keeping things moving-it's about continuously improving how we serve residents, owners, and internal stakeholders.
the opportunity
as our operations manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing the day-to-day functionality of our residential property management team. From leasing and renewals to maintenance coordination and collections, you'll lead the charge in creating efficient systems, building accountable teams, and leveraging data to drive strategic improvements.
what you'll do
* lead a remote operations team
manage and support a high-performing team across key operational areas, including renewals, collections, utilities, licenses, billing reviews, and work order approvals.
* refine and scale sops
build, implement, and enhance standard operating procedures that support consistency, efficiency, and quality across our operations.
* own key metrics
track, analyze, and report on performance kpis-turn data into action by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational growth.
* drive cross-functional alignment
partner with leasing, maintenance, accounting, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of service delivery.
* coach for high performance
support professional development and ensure each team member meets clear standards of excellence, accountability, and responsiveness.
* act as a systems guardian
step in when needed to maintain operational continuity, particularly during process transitions, heavy workloads, or unexpected changes.
what we're looking for
✅ operational leadership - 5+ years in operations, with at least 3 years managing a team of 10+
✅ process-first thinking - you build, document, and refine workflows that reduce friction and boost results
✅ remote management expertise - you're comfortable driving performance and engagement with a distributed team
✅ strong analytical mindset - you use data to guide decisions and continuously improve team output
✅ collaborative communicator - you keep all parties informed and aligned, especially in high-volume situations
✅ calm under pressure - you maintain clarity and focus even when the pace picks up or the unexpected happens

* hourly pay: $11.00-$15.00 (usd) paid weekly
* annual performance bonus: up to 5% of wages (effective 2025 calendar year)
* google reviews bonus: $25 for any 5-star review mentioned
* better book club: up to $500 per calendar year for reading
* paid time off: 10 days (accrued)
* paid birthday off: 1 day (take during the month of your birthday)
* paid holidays: 7 days
