this role manages mexico's department store channel business.
they build, develop, and maintain relationships with key wholesale accounts within mexico.
this position is based remotely in mexico (mexico city strongly preferred) and reports directly to fjällräven's head of latam.
the anticipated gross salary range for this role is us$70,000-75,000 annually.
*what you will do*
as the key account manager for fjällräven mexico, you will:
- oversee administrative support and strategic expansion of assigned wholesale accounts
- achieve the objectives of the department store channel, such as fulfilment of sales budgets, margins, future projections, and constructions of brand positioning
- build relationships with customers and guide them in generating orders and solving problems
- deeply understand the department store channel within mexico
- manage partners' inventory to achieve maximum efficiency and seasonal sell-out
- manage b2b and/or edi
- be responsible for monthly quarterly, financial, and strategic planning in collaboration with the head of latam
- work closely with sales and account services teams to facilitate key account sales, including products, accounts, terms, and agreement negotiation
- participate in and manage kick-off events, management meetings, and other mandatory events
- analyze competitive market trends and insights to inform and adjust business strategies

- requirements:_
- you have at least three years experience in key account management within mexico's department store channel
- the entrepreneurial spirit is in your dna, and you would describe yourself as a strategic thinker focused on business development
- you have strong knowledge of local market trends and regulations in mexico
- you communicate effectively and professionally in both spanish and english
- you have a love and respect for nature and the outdoors
- you are willing and able to travel within mexico as needed
- preferred, but not required:_
- experience in the outdoor or sporting goods industries is strongly preferred
