position summary statement:
the e&c manager i will be responsible for supporting the global ethics and compliance program for the mx region by developing and implementing global and regional policies. Under the supervision of the méxico regional ethics and compliance sr. Manager, this role will act as a business partner to provide training and communication to ensure compliance with the corporate hn compliance program. Key activities include:
1. anticorruption guidelines
2. corporate code of business conduct

6. vendor risk activities
7. compliance with laws & regulations
this role will assist the méxico sr. Manager in evaluating ethics and compliance issues/concerns within the mx region and support coordination with other departments to align compliance activities. Additionally, it will help detect violations of the code of conduct, related fcpa policies and procedures, as well as relevant company policies and procedures.
detailed responsibilities:
1. manage third-party risks through due diligence, conducting interviews, reviewing and analyzing diligence reports, exercising professional skepticism, and monitoring invoices or implementing compensating controls.
2. responsible for the training and education program.
3. conduct internal investigations (interviews, document review, etc.).
4. monitor, identify, audit, and assess potential risks, recommending corrective actions to mitigate risk.
5. help to prevent and detect violations of laws, regulations, the code, and related internal controls and policies.
6. promote and enforce a culture of ethics and compliance in accordance with the code, ethics and compliance program, and regulatory guidelines.
7. disseminate information about the compliance program and oversee its implementation and effectiveness.
8. work with functional departments to empower managers and staff to conduct business ethically, providing tools and resources such as training and awareness campaigns.
9. communicate openly and create channels for employees to report or seek guidance about potential misconduct without fear of reprisal.
10. manage confidential and anonymous reporting mechanisms, documenting enforcement with reports including resolutions.
11. propose corrective actions to address substantiated misconduct from investigations, which may include termination or improvements to internal controls.

experience:
1. +9 years work experience, preferred minimum 5 years in compliance-related roles.
2. enterprise risk management: control environment, control activities, communication, monitoring.
3. third-party due diligence.

6. legal compliance obligations.
7. compliance program, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
8. fcpa, uk anti-bribery act.
