The operational buyer is responsible for performing all purchasing activities within certain material/service fields with the objective of optimal supply and generating a maximum profit contribution in compliance with the company's policies and purchasing guidelines. This position reports to the operational purchasing team lead of region/subregion. The role carries out all purchasing activities with a medium degree of difficulty and complexity, in the area of goods/services for which the job holder is responsible.
your profile
* advanced level of english is required (interviews will be in english) - any other language will be a strong plus (german, portuguese).
* at least 3 years of experience in related field (scm - spare parts - purchasing).
* negotiation advanced skills.
* commercial contracting previous experience is highly appreciated.
* previous experience in purchasing processes/purchase to pay is required.
* stakeholder partnership knowledge.
* project and time management previous experience will be a strong plus.
* business acumen.
* intercultural management will be a strong plus.
* it tools (sap, office package), methods and analytics knowledge will be a strong plus.
