influences other functions/vendors to support supply chain strategy.key responsibilities:manage suppliers and their performance to ensure uninterrupted supply and quality.create local, regional, and global savings opportunities.support the delivery of working capital and creditor targets.ensure control and proper responsibility for expenditure of company funds.develop and implement business procurement strategies for assigned services, consistent with global or local procurement plans.negotiate agreements with suppliers for services within the value of spend.establish project management discipline for identifying and tracking tasks, resources, milestones, and measures for projects.communicate with key stakeholders on projects to ensure mutual understanding of objectives and priorities.execute key elements of supply chain plans in terms of operations, specific interventions, related costs, and timelines, in line with organizational strategy.identify gaps in processes related to supply chain; conduct root cause analysis and identify strategies to build the gaps.
