What you will do:
the supplier business continuity (sbc) analyst provides direct oversight for supplier risk assessment and mitigation processes supporting global procurement. This position resides within the procurement/supply chain center of excellence (coe) shared service, as a member of lean centralized team reporting to the director, supplier business continuity. Johnson controls sbc program is executed in a matrix fashion, relying on strong cross functional collaboration and the ability to drive effective execution of many program activities through a large network of resources on other teams.

This role combines process administration/oversight; data maintenance, rationalization, and analysis; and regular consistent publishing of kpi and portfolio level kri control charts. A successful sbc analyst will effectively interface with and influence, partners in jci’s monterrey, mexico based procurement execution center and colleagues from the procurement/supply chain sourcing and coe, and supplier quality teams worldwide. This individual will establish, orchestrate and maintain processes which gather quality data, from sources both up- and downstream in the supply chain, which create the foundation for business continuity decision making by all levels of jci’s procurement and supply chain management functions.
this role is responsible for executing tactical aspects of the program on a day-to-day basis and may also be asked to execute urgent research requests in event of a significant supply chain disruption.
how you will do it:
1. ensure adoption and consistent use of established processes.
2. administrate the timely execution of critical supplier assessments and definition of mitigation action plans by supplier relationship owners.
3. execute key program operational activities on a weekly, monthly or periodic basis necessary to maintain and aggregate data for enterprise reporting.
4. maintain key datasets to enable timely and effective oversight of key risk monitoring tools.supplier portfolios and cross referencessme contact lists and assignments in tools and automated workflows
5. maintains detailed process documentation.
6. partner with team members to deliver training as needed.
7. support with research and analytics.
8. track project deliverables and progress, escalate issues to ensure successful delivery.
9. proactively identify and resolve roadblocks/challenges affecting projects.
10. leverage desktop productivity tools and resources to automate business processes where possible.
11. participate in development of risk models, kris and controls.

18. proficient with ms office, sharepoint site management, ms power bi, powerautomate and/or powerapps.

19. bachelor’s degree (preferable with business or operations focus) required; mba preferred.
20. previous systems/operations experience.
21. minimum of 2 years of working knowledge experience in the global strategic sourcing and procurement or related environment, experience in risk management techniques required.
22. experience with disaster/event management software and tools strongly desired.
23. excellent communication skills - written and oral in english
24. ability to consistently meet deadlines.
25. certified professional in supply management (cpsm) or a certification in third party risk management preferred.
