about this role
the technical program manager will work with our ad tech and marketing technology teams to help execute the technical strategy and roadmap for adtech and marketing content systems that power personalized communications. You will work closely with software development managers (sdms) and software development engineers (sdes) to organize and plan new development and enhancement work. You will work with teams across audible and amazon to evangelize the marketing technology teams and ensure we have the capabilities and data to meet the current and future needs of the business. You will be a collaborator between the product team and audible dev teams to ensure that the data impacts are recognized and planned for. You will continue to look for process improvements both within the team as well as interfaces with other teams to bring efficiencies into the team's work breakdown and prioritization.

- collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into technology requirements and drive software development from design to successful deployment
- manage multiple projects with conflicting needs and priorities across cross-functional teams (technology, business, marketing, operations) using agile development framework
- communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives transparently to all stakeholders and teams
- continuously strive for performance improvement and setting higher standards in project execution using objective metrics

- 5+ years of experience within software
- 2+ years of experience managing agile software projectspreferred qualifications- superlative written and verbal communication skills
- experience navigating an ambiguous environment
- able to diplomatically disagree and align when dealing with different stakeholders
- results oriented and customer focused
- experience coordinating integrations and pipelines with major media players (meta, google, etc.)
- exposure to market leading martech and adtech platforms: crm, cdp, dmp, dsp, ad server, programmatic
- experience in marketing content platforms: digital asset management, project management for content, dynamic content optimization, image and copy generation, etc.
- prior experience in building web based systems using java/j2ee, apache tomcat
- adept at usage of various program management tools such as microsoft project and jira/confluence
