Position objective
responsible for ensuring that all robotics, automation, testing, traceability systems and technologies are in optimal condition to build our products with the highest quality, productivity and safety operations.
your key responsibilities
1. develop, improve, research and create new software for our manufacturing operations.
2. alignment of initiatives with other sites to maintain proven cutting-edge technologies and processes.
3. identify innovation opportunities for manufacturing and assembly processes.
4. hire, guide, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance in the team in partnership with human resources.
5. build and strengthen relationships across brp sites.
6. promote creativity and innovation throughout the site to improve: safety, quality, productivity and employee experience.
7. financial management: accuracy and compliance with the direct and indirect labor budget.
8. follow brp values and behaviors.
9. ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
10. enforce quality brp policy.
11. ensure a good work environment by following up the officevibe tool.
your qualifications and skills
1. bilingual.
2. assembly / fabrication processes.
3. robotics, plc and programming.
4. project management.
5. budget management.
6. ehs knowledge.
education:
1. bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechatronics, electromechanics).
experience:
1. min. 3 years in leadership role in similar area.
language:
1. fluent in spanish written and verbal.
2. english written and verbal (min: 80%).
3. knowledge of french or german is an advantage.
