the role is based in mexico city and is part of pepsico's communications transformation to move towards an agile, insights-driven function.
the role will be critical to increase the impact and efficiency of the social intelligence capability by facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise across gbs and pepsico regions, executing ad-hoc projects and supporting to create compelling stories.
the team is based out of hyderabad & mexico city providing media monitoring, social listening, and analytical support the corporate communications function.
the role requires the individual to enable the communications team's evolution to be more data and insights driven, through real-time monitoring; consumer behaviour & trends, corporate brand insights, global communcations scorecard; issues management and identifying engagement opportunities and optimizations across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
the individual will engage with key stakeholders within the coprorate affairs function, as well as within gbs, and will be often be responsible for timely updates that deal with sensitive matters.
*your impact*

as communications monitoring, listening and analytics team your responsibilities would consist of:
- provide real-time/ ad-hoc monitoring, analysis, and reporting of trending topics and issues about pepsico, its products, brands, leaders, competitors, etc.
- curate insights for the business around trends, data patterns, flag potential issues and hot spots of conversation
- manage listening and monitoring platforms to ensure optimal coverage of key issues, negative sentiments, volume of conversation, reach of influencers, etc.
- act as an expert on how social listening can be used to answer business questions in a compelling and engaging way.
this expertise will include media monitoring, benchmarking, owned/earned/paid analysis, command centre visualizations.
- execution of projects with quality and depth of deliverables with low/no support from vendors/team post training period.
the analyst will be the responsible for producing complete analysis and "one page summary" for all projects conducted.
the analyst will also present his/her work to the pepsico business teams.
- create & socialize reports for leadership, business teams and gbs (e.g., daily/ weekly/ quarterly type of periodic reports, or custom reports on as-need basis)
- collaborate with team to provide analytics to support the global coe team and eventually the top 20 markets according to the horizons plan.
this strategic expansion results in a more efficient approach with direct in-house support and provides a superior and standard execution of content measurement and analysis across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
