We are seeking an experienced office administrator to run the macquarie asset management (mam) private markets mexico office.
mam private markets is a specialist funds management business which focuses primarily on infrastructure and private equity asset classes.
it establishes and manages investment vehicles which raise funds from investors to acquire interests in infrastructure or private equity assets.
*skills*
- ability to manage staff of executive assistants
- 5-7 years of office admin or ea experience, at least 3 years as a supervisor of eas
- excellent planning and organizational skills
- advanced word, powerpoint, outlook
- intermediate to advanced it skills; specifically in desktop support/set up
- ability to negotiate effectively
- fluency in english
- supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the office;
- liaising with offshore offices;
- negotiates the purchasing of office equipment and supervises the maintenance of equipment using outside vendors;
- first line of defense with it problems, knowing when to escalate urgent matters;
- preparing expense reports and assisting eas with overflow;
- preparing new starter setups and maintaining efficient ea allocations;
- coordinating employee moves within the department;
- provides senior level ea support to management and leadership team;
- booking domestic and international travel with focus on expense policy and procedures;
- ensure office is in appropriate condition;
- ad hoc duties as required
