*the role*the logistic manager, based in mexico, is responsible for managing iot hardware import and export, trade and compliance, local vendor procurement and management, inventory planning with global planning team, warehouse operations, customer order processing and logistics to ensure iot devices can arrive at customer origins in mexico on time, at the right quality with right experience.
this individual shall also work closely with customers to provide fulfillment and logistic support.
this individual shall be very detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
*duties include, but will not be limited to*:- source and manage logistic vendors to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery service; - review inbound, outbound shipments and organize fulfillment activities accordingly; - maintain communications with internal stakeholders and external customer sites to ensure device requirements being promptly planned for, order being fulfilled accurately, and being shipping on time.- provide logistic support to customer origins (with us support)- regularly monitor and replenish inventory of direct and indirect materials; - lead warehouse and inventory management process and stay in compliant with corporate policy- oversee internal platform and erp system execution; - establish standard operating procedures with a continuous improvement mindset; - generate and maintain monthly reports including but not limited to fulfillment volume, inventory performance, logistic and warehouse spend, cost saving dashboard etc.- other operational tasks in mexico as needed*technical requirement*:- excellent pc skills: microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, and ms outlook.- demonstrates an understanding of the order fulfillment process, facility policies and procedures.- demonstrate the ability to learn and understand warehouse erp systems.
netsuite preferred- minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, production management, and/or fulfillment is required.- education in operations or logistics, or relevant industry experience is preferred.
