with design and manufacturing sites in north america, europe and asia, we have become the preferred provider of high voltage power solutions for oems pushing the boundaries of technology around the world by designing and producing the products they need to power progress.objective / purpose of the function:focus on the development of test equipment, setups and frameworks to ensure the conformity of the products according to customer specifications with a strong automated, modular, re-usable and global approach.develop and execute strategic plan to provide support and continuously improve knowledge, skills and the learning environment in a mid-size, high mix, multinational engineering, and manufacturing organization.principal responsibilities:support on the design of test equipment for automated systems and new products.generate or expand standard practices for test equipment design as safety, modularity, serviceability, reusability, scalability, reliability and robustness.incorporate standard practices on the design of test equipment.select measurement instrumentation for test equipment based on product specifications and established standards.design custom electronic modules for test equipment.create all documentation for any level of hardware design according to spellman procedures and standards.create/lead validation programs for the designed test equipment or modifications of existing based on industry standards.support and train other members of the team.train tpm group on maintenance strategy.lead research for new technologies that can be incorporated existing or future designs.design of pcb schematics and layouts to support test equipment.comply with the health, safety and environment policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established objectives and goals.competences / abilities:3+ years of experience working on the design of test fixtures and systems and 1+ years of experience working with high voltage (preferable).bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (electronic, electrical, mechatronic, or directly related field.
