As a robotics engineer: process, you will join our product team onsite in our carson, ca office to develop and optimize processes for surface finishing and treatment, while working cross functionally to contribute to the design of new end-of-arm tools for manufacturing operations.
*role & responsibilities*
- collaborate with engineers to develop and optimize robotic manufacturing processes for surface finishing and treatment.
- assist in the implementation of new end-of-arm tools (eoat) for robotic manufacturing processes
- collaborate closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored automation solutions.
- work closely with the engineering team and manufacturers to integrate process improvements and automation solutions effectively.
- assist in analyzing manufacturing data to support process optimization efforts.
- stay updated on industry trends and advancements in material science and automation technology.

*minimum qualifications*
- bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, materials and process engineering, material science, or a related field.
- 1+ years of industry experience within a manufacturing environment working on manufacturing process development, manufacturing engineering or similar.
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ability to thrive in a fast paced and innovative environment with quickly changing priorities.
- ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- must secure work authorization in the united states and maintain ongoing work authorization beginning at the time of hire through the entirety of employment.
*preferred qualifications*
- proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- understanding of automated and robotic systems, including machine tools, end-of-arm tools and basic programming.
- experience with cad software for tool design.
