The job at-a-glance:
q2 is seeking a project manager for our team specializing in the delivery of features and updates to current customers. Reporting to an implementations delivery manager and working closely with implementation engineers, the project manager is responsible for working closely with their team for coordination and delivery of projects directly to our customers.
A typical day:
- manage project timelines and deliverables- ensure systems of record are kept up to date- work closely with the client and team to solve issues that arise- participate in the team's culture to constantly improve the ways we deliver for our customers- documentation of processes- coordinate and provide responsive updates to clients and internal resources in fast paced delivery environment and matrixed global organization.

- typically requires a bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
- familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies- experience building documentation and project plans using excel, ms project, and ms powerpoint- experience managing client expectations with a client first attitude and commitment to satisfaction- ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments- capable of assessing project risks and mitigations- ability to convey technical concepts to business oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources- possess project leadership qualities- strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills- ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions- attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast paced environment- experience in both agile and waterfall project management approaches preferred.- fintech or enterprise software experience preferred
