Job description:
activities:
- primary point of contact between supplier, materials department and distribution center team.
- responsible for material planning for distribution center, review constrains on materials, deliveries and risk management and solutions for supply chain.
- responsible for material delivery and expedites to asure completition to dc shipping plan
- follow up open orders and past due alignments with supplier.
- invoice resolution, don't exceed material waiting receiving in warehouse area.
- material delivery follow up within materials department.
- provides analysis on build rate increases or decreases for dc materials
- coordination and analysis on material forecast for dc materials on erp.
- responsible for data integrity and alignment within mrp.
requirements:
- bachelor degree
- advanced english skills
- 3 years experience as buyer
- effective communication skills, point of contact between materials & distribution center
- strong analytical and statistics experience.
- selfdirected, capable of take decisions.
- demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with mrp structure and functionality.
- proven inventory distribution and product flow knowledge.
- excellent microsoft office skills, mid-advanced (search formulas, pivot tables) capable of develop tools to present summarized infortmation
- good negotiation and problem solving skills.
adept at dealing with situations involving conflict, and able to facilitate constructive resolution.
- proactively communicate risks and solution finder.
