*job purpose*:
perform advanced analytical tasks, often of a confidential nature in support of the global supply network manages suppliers by developing improvement plans and support buyers & professionals related to response time, lean targets quality, cost, logistics, development, management (qcldm) to enable optimal and efficient operations.

*job duties*:
- analyzes and maintains assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assign process area, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- leads project management process improvement, process development, and process execution.
- analyzes and manages procurement and logistics data including but not limited to:purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection reports, tooling records, supplier data/measurement, inventory mgmt.
engineered value chains.
- collects and analyzes data, works with team members to resolve errors, explains changes and recommends actions to resolve problems.
- provides analysis and recommendations needed to increase accuracy and execution velocity to be successful in implementing projects on time, with in cost, and meeting targets.
- creates reports for team to efficiently communicate accurate project and/or operational performance level information.
- implements local or regional sourcing strategy under the direction of their manager and experienced buyers & professionals
- supports buyers, supplier development engineers, supply network professionals, product supply npi leader, supply network operations supervisors and/or managers working with category, facility, product and logistics teams.
informs progress on assignments to ensure all requirements are met.
participates in and provide analysis related to cppd/npi projects to product and procurement teams.
- advanced project management skills required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required.

*background/experience*:
- university degree
- experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, engineering, product development or marketing
- project management background
- knowledge of basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques
- high level understanding of purchasing strategy and supplier sourcing strategies
- understanding of qcldm
- familiarity with procurement tools, systems and processes
- data analysis experience
- intermediate to advanced skill in use of computer software programs including microsoft word, excel, access, visio, powerpoint, purchasing systems.
- requires effective communications skills - both oral and written
- must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style
- required to be able to prioritize work in a dynamic environment
