as a sr account manager - healthcare packaging here at honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success in the healthcare packaging industry in mexico. Your expertise in managing key accounts and building strong relationships will enable you to effectively meet customer needs and exceed their expectations. By identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored solutions, you will contribute to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of the company.
in this role, you will impact the healthcare packaging industry in mexico and central america by providing innovative solutions that improve patient safety, product protection, and supply chain efficiency.
key responsibilities
1. manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in mexico and central america, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships.
2. collaborate in the development and execution of strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
3. build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
4. identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions.
5. support customer development through the deployment of the technical tools and services provided by honeywell. Collaborate with end users to facilitate the following processes: package concept development, material selection, package characterization, tooling/equipment design and commercialization.
6. provide technical support to oem of packaging machinery, tooling, contract manufacturers, converters, and pharma end user companies to ensure that optimum performance is achieved from aclar laminates.
7. function as subject matter expert (sme) and represent honeywell hc&p at industry trade shows, technical seminars, luncheons, workshops, etc.
8. oversee and/or execute design of development studies/protocols, data review and technical reports generated as a result of application development activities and provide recommendations which are supported by this analysis.
9. monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
you must have
1. minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
2. minimum 5 years direct technical experience in packaging development, thermoforming applications of multi-layer laminate barrier materials and/or machinery related to pharmaceutical blister packaging.
3. strong communication and negotiation skills.
4. ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
5. hands-on manufacturing development experience with thermoforming combined with demonstrated troubleshooting skills with proven ability to diagnose customer needs/pain points and apply "problem solving" skills to identify root cause corrective action plans.
6. strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. excellent organizational and time management skills.
8. proficient in crm software and microsoft office suite.
we value
1. minimum of a be/bs in chemical engineering, chemical, packaging science, packaging engineering, polymer science, plastics engineering or related field with at least 5 years experience in package development of thermoform pharmaceutical blister packaging, film manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry or packaging related industry.
