Job summary:
an associate project manager will provide vital support to the program manager to ensure successful project delivery. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, creating project presentations, and managing project finances.
responsibilities:
* create project presentations for project statuses, team meetings, and executive updates
* administer the project raid log and update sharepoint sites with project team information
* support meeting coordination, meeting minutes, and ms project plan updates
* manage onboarding and offboarding of project resources, including processing statements of work (sows) and requesting purchase orders (pos)
* update project management tool (daptiv) weekly, tracking schedules, risks, issues, and financials
* monitor project spend and reconcile forecast and actual costs against budget monthly, liaising with vendors and finance teams as needed
* assist with capital request preparation and reconcile it system with business general ledger on a monthly basis
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in an it-related field is preferred
* project management qualification is desirable
* 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large globally dispersed organization
* strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential
* demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills in english
* ability to work collaboratively and excellent ms office skills are required
* experience with daptiv and different erps is a plus
