Financial planning & analysis analyst

this position reports to the financial planning & analysis manager.
your role and responsibilities
* you will provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts.
* you will support abb group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision-making processes.
* you will evaluate the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions.
key accountabilities
* you will analyze business performance versus plan and propose improvement actions.
* you will perform benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within abb.
* you will work with management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identify market trends.
* you will prepare financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyze the impact to the organization.
* you will validate the accuracy of financial data and business information through reconciliation and review of exceptions.
qualifications
* you have 5+ years of experience in financial statement analysis (balance sheet, p&l) and cost center, expense analysis, and internal control.
* you have solid foundations in accounting.
* you are proficient in communicating in english.
* you are highly adept in excel and have experience with sap is a plus.
* you hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* a previous experience in a transnational company and/or big four company is a plus.
