responsibilities
* lead efforts to achieve operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team performance.
* implement plant strategies to achieve key business kpis.
* drive cornerstone production system implementation and sustainability.
* drive quality improvements and root cause analysis for all quality challenges and customer cases.
* promote and sustain a lean culture across the site to continuously improve operational efficiency.
* manage the lean team to ensure lean projects and strategies are executed.
* drive the lean kaizen program and the 6s program.
* drive capacity analysis and capacity growth of the production lines to ensure we attain capacity for the business and customer needs.
* oversee the development and training of superintendents, supervisors, and employees, ensuring compliance with union contracts and company policies.
* enable a safety culture that ensures our employees work in an environment free of risks.
qualifications
* minimum of (10) ten years related work experience in an operations function, with at least 5 years at the leadership level
* proven leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
* lean manufacturing experience and demonstrated application in previous roles.
* applied knowledge and/or security certification in relevant areas.
* advanced english proficiency (written and verbal).
* proficiency in microsoft office applications.
* a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with strategic thinking capabilities.
* excellent communication skills and a people-oriented mindset.
* openness and ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and production team members.
* a strong attitude and disposition to achieve change and goals.
* great teamwork capability and capacity to negotiate and influence others.
* advance soft skills and capacity to drive solutions to people.
* bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
