what you will do?
- identification and implementation of value add (cost saving) projects
- development support of new products for life safety systems as part of a research & development team in a world-leading multinational organisation.
How you will do it?
- identify, design and implement value added proposals and cost reduction projects for safety systems - electrical and mechanical
- plan and conduct design qualification testing
- liaise with other r&d departments including electrical, mechanical, sw & sqa
- liaise with factory production engineering and test engineering
- support manufacturing during new product introduction and product continuation
- comply with company standards & procedures
- job may involve co-ordination of small projects
- job may involve some international travel
