your role
* design and execute market research to answer business questions by integrating primary and secondary data sources.
* employ appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods including focus groups, in-home ethnographies, 1-1 interviews, concept tests, home use tests, advertising testing, discrete choice testing, etc. to address business questions.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams as a trusted business partner to influence decision making.
* interact with global cmi/r&d colleagues as needed on global initiatives.
* effectively manage projects to achieve team goals and complete work assignments within aligned deadlines.
* provide concise analysis of findings and generate actionable recommendations.
* synthesize and communicate learnings / consumer insights from studies (and past available consumer research) to stakeholders and broader cross-functional teams.
* partner with r&d and shopper teams to identify trends which are relevant to the product categories and drive awareness within the cross-functional teams.
* initiate and maintain project records in camp (internal global library platform).
your skills
* minimum 5 years of experience in market research including experience in survey design and data collection methods, market segmentation and targeting, focus groups, advertising research and tracking, discrete choice methodologies and new product research.
* fluent in spoken and written american english.
* strong attention to detail and data quality.
* knowledge of the us cpg market or ability and interest in becoming familiar.
* ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* flexibility to meet with us partners during reasonable us business hours.
* excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* strong presentation skills.
* strong project management skills.
* proficiency in microsoft office suite, especially excel and powerpoint.
* knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical standards in research.
