*qualifications*:
- updates supervisor (process engineer) of work status or problems with recommendations for improvement or correction.
implements approved corrective action.
modifies procedures to improve equipment operation or processes.
responds to basic system alarms and reset alarms as necessary.
- records assignments and prepare documentation concerning materials, parts used, concepts, designs, drawings and processes.
compiles data to develop reports for management.
- coordinates testing protocols and documents results.
- coordinates manufacturing phase in of new products or product changes.
responds to safety issues by recommending and implementing a resolution (knowledge of engineering changes (ecos): documentation, parts, routers, boms, general configuration of components in the system).
- completes studies or experiments and prepares reports on results (knowledge in validations (execution and ownership) such as iqs, oqs, pqs.)
- documentation and control of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenances, usage time in other kind of activities such as trainings, engineering changes, courses, etc by using maximo system.
- resolves process issues found in equipment such as main equipment by electrical testing, logical troubleshooting with analogic or computerized equipment.
- applies non-standard technical methods in such areas as manufacturing, maintenance, quality, testing, engineering and production to achieve desired outcome.
- knowledge or experience on medical environment (manufacturing / processes).
- basic plc knowledge.
- electrical and electronic troubleshooting for equipment, knowledge in multimeter utilization.
- good english understanding (written and oral) for protocols/reports redaction, execution and reporting.
- project ownership for development and execution taking meetings in spanish and english to connect with the appropriate members to achieve goals.
- active person who can easily understand complex equipment construction to detect failures and opportunities.
- plastic process knowledge is a plus (extrusion, reflow, grinding).
