The account director will play a pivotal role in managing and growing client relationships within our dynamic marketing firm. This individual will lead the execution of the marketing strategy, including digital, btl activations, pr, content and stakeholder engagement, ensuring world-class results for our multinational client and its agency. The role requires fluency in business spanish and english, with a minimum of 7+ years of experience managing multinational accounts in marketing, advertising, media, sports marketing or related industries.

key responsibilities
client management:
1. serve as the primary point of contact for the client and its agency
2. build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust
3. understand client objectives and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
4. manage, assign and orchestrate such marketing strategies into specific deliverables by the required functions within the team
execution:
1. act as the primary day-to-day lead on client business
2. interpret client asks and convert into requests and deliverables for agency departments
3. manage and take ownership of the production and execution of client deliverables
campaign execution:
1. develop and oversee digital marketing campaigns and btl activations tailored to client needs.
2. collaborate with internal teams (social media, project management, activations, content generation, media, design) to deliver high-quality results.
3. ensure timely delivery of projects while meeting performance kpis.
stakeholder engagement:
1. manage relationships with various stakeholders across sales and marketing functions within the client and agency organizations.
2. act as a liaison between client and its agency and our teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
3. provide client-service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending regular meetings and conference calls in english, compiling reports, scheduling and organizing logistics
4. collaborate with and lead social media manager, strategy, community manager, pr and sales departments to execute a strong, inspiring delivery on every facet of the client relationship
content planning:
1. assist in content planning and generation to enhance brand storytelling and engagement.
2. coordinate with creative teams to produce compelling content aligned with campaign objectives.
3. manage content and creative timelines with the client and its agency. Working closely with designers, copy, editors to adhere to delivery and social media schedules.
strategic leadership:
1. lead cross-functional projects involving multiple disciplines to achieve client goals.
2. provide insights on industry trends and innovative approaches to sports marketing.
required skills
1. exceptional communication skills in business spanish and english (written and verbal).
2. strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and optimize strategies.
3. expertise in digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics.

desired qualifications
1. bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (master's preferred).
2. in-depth knowledge of marketing principles, including digital, fan engagement, and experiential marketing. Sports marketing experience a plus.
3. experience in content creation or storytelling is also a plus.
4. familiarity with emerging trends in marketing such as ai-driven campaigns, new platforms, etc.
experience requirements
1. minimum of 7+ years of marketing experience. Account management experience handling multinational clients within the sports marketing or advertising sectors a plus.
