we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ftp v1 (finance accounting ledger system) outbound analyst .
the role will come under global finance operations which is the backbone of global finance and has - 35% of finance headcount across five locations ncr, hyderabad, chennai, bangalore, china, hk, mexico, and krakow.

main activities:
* develop understanding of the ftp (accounting ledger system) processes, and related activities to support outbound processes comprising of business rules, data extracts, reports and visualization.
* functional requirement gathering for various local and global projects related to new or existing outbound interfaces from ftp (accounting ledger system) or any reporting within the platform via various reporting applications; perform in-depth analysis and provide required solutions.
* support ftp (accounting ledger) source systems development changes by analyzing impacts and identifying rule changes to outbound processes and work with downstream applications and subject matter experts to develop and test data flowing out of ftp (accounting ledger system).
* perform data validation of rules testing results to ensure accuracy of the rules created and resolve the issues identified.
* identifies and analyses complex problems; generates feasible and creative solutions considering all aspects and consequences; leads brainstorming meetings to discuss and/or resolve problems.
* supporting projects, developing project plans, and monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
* lead discussions with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and changes well communicated.
* ensure adequate documentation and sign off on proposed design.
* take accountability for ensuring change / implementation in compliance with group standards and regulations with respect to tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
* manage priorities and change activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement.
* identify, engage, and manage relationships with key stakeholders across global business as well as all finance sub-functions, ftp (accounting ledger system) upstream and downstream systems, testing, pmo and ftp (accounting ledger system) operations run-the-bank team, adopting a joined-up approach to execute the change at pace.
requirements:
* qualification: ca, mba, mca, or post-graduate preferably in finance or banking domain with significant functional and analytical experience.
* 5+ years of professional experience in finance accounting ledger system change projects and experience of writing & testing business rules for accounting systems.
* experience in managing, negotiating, and influencing senior business relationships across geographies.
* understand changes in accounting policy and accounting flow and analyze the impacts from system perspective.
* business change management experience with ability to drive change projects and solutions in a finance environment.
* complex analytical reasoning skills enabling appraisal of the global & regional reporting requirements and translate into functional requirements for system development.
* strong functional leadership skills and ability to deal with complex issues such as escalations and need for confidentiality.
* should be able to deliver high-quality service in shared service finance environments based on pla’s and performance standards.
* strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience.
* excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and to understand issues quickly.
* capable of undertaking transfer of knowledge through training/coaching within & outside of teams.
* strong working knowledge in ms office tools.
* experience in building visualization using technology such as qlik or tableau.
* willing to challenge the status quo, be proactive and innovative in driving change.
* willing to work with colleagues in other areas/ time zones where appropriate.
