we are seeking a bilingual facilities coordinator who will be responsible for procuring, maintaining, and repairing cyracom facilities.
your work includes management of non-exempt staff and contractors responsible for custodial services, such as building repairs, major/minor maintenance, and hvac system maintenance and repairs.
as facilities coordinator, you will maintain effective working relationships with the building landlord and cyracom operational managers/supervisors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities with operational needs.

*what you'll do*:
- ensure that cleaning, maintenance and safety is maintained throughout the facility in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and cyracom standards.
- perform quality control activities such as site inspections on construction projects, cleaning inspections, maintenance inspections, life safety equipment inspections, and safety inspections.
- serve as a lead member of the disaster recovery organization (dro) and responsible for the disaster recovery plan (drp)
- review cleaning and maintenance practices and identify process efficiencies and/or cost-savings.
- serve as lead staff for the coordination of vendors/contractors on space modifications and build-outs.
- work with the finance department to develop specifications and bid packages for maintenance services and major/minor repairs; obtain cost estimates; evaluate vendor responses; participate in the selection of vendors and negotiate contracts; manage deliverables.
- manage construction projects to ensure that timelines are met or exceeded, and all safety requirements are being followed.
- analyze building and equipment requests in order to determine specific needs and construction methodology for optimal performance and reliability.
- coordinate and regularly update operational managers (customers) about work project status, cleaning or maintenance concerns.
- respond to inquiries and complaints from service users in order to provide information, maintain good customer relations and improve performance.
- participate in the annual budget preparation process; review monthly financial reports to ensure that revenues and expenditures align.
- participate in meetings with directors and managers; coordinate meetings when required.
- ensure that equipment critical to business continuity such as generators, ups, and fire suppression systems are regularly tested and maintained in accordance with laws, rules, and regulations as well as business necessity.
- manage the safety program and execute safety meetings.
manage elaboration and follow up of the "civil protection plan-plan de proteccion civil" and "safety and hygiene - seguridad e higiene" tours.
- create and maintain all policies related to the areas assigned to this position; identify deficiencies in systems/procedures and make or recommend corrective action.
- supervise/manage staff with full human resources authority including hiring, training, assigning tasks and monitoring work performance, recommending and approving salary actions, coaching and counseling and recommending and administering corrective action, including termination; consulting with human resources as appropriate.
- resolve problems directly through coaching of subordinates and/or collaboration with peers and management.
- oversee staff scheduling and ensure that staffing is sufficient to meet service requirements.
