*accounting policy *manager*
*role purpose. *the role of accounting policy manager supports head of accounting policy mexico and lam to ensure accounting standards are correctly and consistently applied and new accounting standards are successfully implemented.
As a part of 2lod team, the role is engaged to properly escalate any deficiency observed in the accounting processes reviewed to 1lod/2lod.
The role requires significant communication with finance functions of lam sites and group accounting policies in other regions
*main activities*:
- help in the coordination of the implementation of new accounting policies and changes on timely basis.
- provide accurate and timely turnaround of accounting opinions.
Identify and report inconsistencies found in accounting processes to 1lod/2lod teams.
