*summary*
the global supply chain business analyst, oracle (cw) will be responsible for helping to ensure best practice out of the current end to end process flow surrounding oracle planning.
this role will be instrumental in driving the future of business & system continuity and will key business partners with it moving forward.
*your day to day*
- audit/document current end to end process flow surrounding oracle planning process to identify gaps in best practice
- rapid response/triage on data integrity errors, system issues, or help needed in the field
- assess & improve current business process flow and system use
- help with test case development and testing of oracle system projects
- use technical/functional expertise to work with and assess current oracle platforms including erp, ascp, demantra, isupplier
- translate business problems & issues into it requirements for it project deployment
- deliver training and guidance on best practice for key business users, create continuity plan and knowledge base for global supply chain
- offer quick support to field users of oracle erp, ascp, demantra, isupplier.
- evaluate and suggest new solutions or upgrades, in partnership with it and business strategy
- understand the impact of master data management & governance on data integrity, capable to trace data errors back to root cause and provide correction solution
- act as first line support to oracle users across the world, on both a project and day to day perspective.
will be able to triage and escalate to it if needed.
- be the process expert and linking pin to it, vendors and business owners
- testing and implementation of new modules, including upgrades and changes within oracle
- document processes and write user manuals, to ensure knowledge management and sharing
- reporting, analysis and troubleshooting
- proposing to the business how to improve the user experience and support to reach goals and objectives of the company
- project management when necessary
- planning and coordination of project tasks with all stakeholders in a project
*what you bring to the team*
- bs or equivalent degree/diploma in areas such as business, information systems, computer science, engineering etc.,
- at least 5+ years of experience within operations or erp consultancy
- demonstrating good understanding of end-to-end business processes and requirements including compliance
- good documentation skills for clear business requirements and design solutions with good presentation of ideas
- ability to operate in a cross-functional, fast paced changing environment
- strong written & verbal communication skills in english including, business and functional requirements, management level presentations and proposal.
- leverage process improvement techniques to streamline process and technical solutions
- detail oriented and self-motivated individual able to function effectively when working independently or in a team.
- ability to innovate and share best practices with members of the project team
- strong ability to navigate through ambiguous situations and think outside of the box
- experience writing sql/obiee queries is preferred
- gtm experience would be a plus
- apriso experience would be a plus
