we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
finance chief operating office (coo) – business manager
we are looking for a talented individual to join the americas finance coo team, to provide support for driving our people, learning and development agenda, and to the different teams in the effective management of their non-financial risks and improving our operational resilience, including model risk governance, and data management.
main activities:
* support data management control implementation, and help build strategy for transition to bau in mexico.
* provide support in control monitoring related to data controls established for us.
* support risk & controls assessments assigned to cfo (us & lam).
* assess and report skills assessments, follow up on trainings and support the usage of the finance skills hub.
* extract information from model risk systems to verify model inventory accuracy and completeness.
* provide support on pra and occ requirements of information related to model risk.
* support in the creation of coo operation manuals and continuous update.
* assist in the development and implementation of control monitoring processes.
* support on the follow up and action remediation.
* support in the implementation of new initiatives in finance from a control point of view.
* previous experience in implementation of global policies and procedures.
* experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (could be internal control or other 2lod functions).
* experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and project management.
* strong analytical skills to process files and understand relevant information.
* strong written and verbal skills.
* detail oriented for global policies and framework understanding and relation.
* ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
* bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (such as economics, maths, etc.)
