work is performed in central me office as well as plant where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.the selected person will spend 18 months in usa on isp and then work with the local project execution team to launch the crank line.responsible for supporting the following activities related to crankshaft line:- manufacturing process definition,- sequence of operations,- human factors consideration and risk assessment,- efficient material flow,- design, construction, integration, plant installation, delivery of all the process and equipment documentation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts.- providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources- work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology.
*qualifications*basic required- deep technical knowledge and ability in process engineering for machined engine components- good understanding of metal machining processes- knowledge and ability to implement gms principles- demonstrate excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.- demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.- demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others- ability in project management skills and willingness to coordinate activities in cross functional teams- manufacturing engineering experience in engine and/or transmission machining.- willingness to travelbasic preferred- demonstrated understanding of plant floor and product design manufacturability- multiple different me assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements- plant experience preferred- application of gms and 4 walls within the site or programeducation- bachelor's degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience
