Position responsibilities:
primary responsibilities are design irrigation systems and provide customer support in resolving property design or product technical issues over the telephone during our high season.
responsibilities include:
* using cad and other software, design irrigation systems in compliance with local, state or regional codes.
* evaluates customer design requests for irrigation requirements and design intent.
* analyzes and resolves irrigation design problems creatively, accurately and efficiently.
* creates irrigation system designs with minimal assistance.
* performs routine general administrative tasks like reporting and recording design related information. Data entry information in customer data base. May assist in general tasks within the rbts group.
* assistswith identifying areas of need and proposing appropriate solutions.
* must meet and comply with department and company policies, procedures, objectives and regulations.
minimum qualifications:
* technical education certificate required.
* must have experience using cad programs; understands technical concepts.
* able to understand written english at an intermediate level.
* basic knowledge of ms office tools and adobe acrobat.
* works well in a team environment; customer service oriented.
* creatively solves problems; capable of handling various projects or tasks at the same time (multitasker).
desired qualifications:
* ba/bs degree in architecture, civil engineering, agronomy or similar education.
* telephone customer service experience.
